It was quite a rainy day
Very gloomy and brought some people’s energy down
I for one love the rain
Maybe Mother Nature just had to let it go?
The clouds got too full for her to handle
It happens to us all
The weight on our shoulders just falls down
We can’t stop it
Sometimes it just happens out of nowhere
The drops of clear water just pour out
Down to the ground and down our face
And when it’s over
The sun always comes up
It dries our face
Gives us a comforting wave of warmth
Who does Mother Nature have when she’s done letting go?
We all have someone who makes us smile
And if we don’t, it’s an animal or a song
It must be lonely in the sky all-day
Giving us good or bad weather
Who helps her make the decisions of the day?
I hope one day she finds the person to lift her mood
On the days she decides to rain
And finally, let go
